The Certificate IV in Project Management course focuses on eight knowledge areas and relates them in practical ways to the field of project management. It is designed for participants wishing to develop project management skills and knowledge, to a stage where they can competently assist in the planning, management and control of projects within their organisations.
The Certificate IV commences with a 2 day Project Management Fundamentals program combining introductory and case study work for those new to project work or team members who require an understanding of the fundamental approach to project management.
This section is particularly suitable for those involved in low value, low risk projects or multiple, independent projects. The content covers the four phases of project management initiation, development, implementation and finalisation with a focus on the early planning stages of project management.
The second part of the Certificate IV is attendance at a 3 day Advanced Project Management Program for project managers and team members who already understand the basic fundamentals of project management, are accountable for project outcomes, and wish to learn more in-depth tools and techniques of the profession.
We run our courses for group numbers of 6-16 participants at customer designated locations offering heavily discounted rates compared to the costs for staff attendance at public courses.
Course Costs
The costs for our Certificate IV in Project
Management Qualification varies and is dependent on the number of
participating students on each day.
A government funding subsidy of $4,000
per person applies in New South Wales for elegible participants to complete this
qualification in thier workplace.
